Sharing comments in ABSDF-North with recomendations for current ABSDF

dear folks,

It seems that this serious issue has been moving.

Now that we have heard a few words from former leaders of ABSDF including Ko Ronald Aung Naing and Ko Moethee, but not from Ko Naing Aung yet.

Ko Moethee has irresponsibly voiced out in response to an audience's question while having a talks in Japan stating "the case of ABSDF-North is nothing related to me (Moethee)". In addition, Moethee even suggested audience to make claims through Japanese police force for him to be able to speak out the truth. Why not in front his supporters/media? This kind of disrespectful attitude shows his insecurity and irresponsible behaviours.

Also, Ko Ronald Aung Naing has admitted through RFA interview that punishments were made to those who were considered ‘spy’ in accordance with organisation policies and procedures. Words have been proven that the ABSDF allows inhuman torture and killing practices which clearly demonstrate negative impression of the current ABSDF especially the organisation itself is striving for human rights and democracy.

Further, Ko Ronald Aung Naing is willing to participate in fact-finding commission led by the current ABSDF. So, we are not quite sure how the current ABSDF will implement the decision being made in forming fact-finding commission whether or not victims are willingly and warmly invited to cooperate with the commission. Moreover, nothing is being heard of any follow-up carried by the current ABSDF in relation to this issue.

We believe if the current ABSDF continues to be practicing ‘tacit-culture’ without having any follow-up to implement a previously-issued statement, then the upcoming consequences may be resulted as bad impression of ABSDF in the eyes of the people of Burma.

Our Recommendations for ABSDF:

• Form a fact-finding commission with an open and inclusive manner

• Send a sincere apology to bereaved families of innocent students who were tortured and killed during the incidents

• Publicly announced facts and true information of the incident what had happened

Notes:

The word 'SPY' is easy to label other rivals while striving for the sake of power. Even labelling 'SPY' onto others has shown very low intelligent in politics. We never heard of other political parties leaders have used the word 'SPY' on their own members.
